Overview
<p>The starting point for service innovations is an in-depth understanding of users' needs, while product innovations are often based on new technology or process optimization. Service logic is a perspective and research area that view everything on markets as services, and see the user as a co-creator of value. Service innovation is about meeting user needs that have not been met so far. As users and other stakeholders are involved in the development processes, service innovation processes often become open. In this course, you will learn more about service logic and how user involvement via service innovation processes can lead to service innovation. This area consists of two courses: Service Logic 2.5 credits and Service Innovation 5 credits. </p><p>Being able to create new, carry out development work and solve problems or challenges is a valuable skill in all professions and in this course you get to try service innovation and practical user-involving methods for working with development. </p>
