Social Anthropology: Master's (One Year) Thesis

This course gives you the opportunity to define your own research question in social anthropology and contribute to academic discussions. By writing a thesis, you develop your expertise and demonstrate your ability – both as a researcher and as a social analyst. The course is worth 15 credits and consists of an independent thesis in social anthropology. You formulate your own research question, engage with current research and apply relevant theories and methods. Your work should demonstrate critical thinking, independence and clear communication of your results. At the final seminar, you present your thesis and provide constructive feedback on another student’s work.
