Kursen fördjupar den kunskap som du tillägnat dig på A-nivå genom att utveckla sin förståelse av samt förmåga att använda socialpsykologiska perspektiv, teorier och begrepp i syfte att analysera fenomen och problem som befinner sig i skärningspunkten mellan individ och samhälle. Såväl klassiska som moderna socialpsykologiska perspektiv och teorier på individen som samhällsvarelse behandlas. Kursen tar även upp den sociologiska socialpsykologins dominerande idétraditioner samt dess uppkomst och utveckling.
