Overview
Innebörden av teorier, begrepp och definitioner samt aktuell forskning inom området makt och självbestämmande i relation till funktionshinder behandlas. Utifrån ett mångvetenskapligt perspektiv upp märksammas utvecklingen över tid, nationellt och internationellt, avseende möjligheter och hinder för individuellt och kollektiv inflytande. Olika former av stöd till individer och anhöriga liksom olika former av kollektivt inflytande och social mobilisering samt samverkan mellan aktörer på funktionshinderområdet belyses. Intersektionella perspektiv fördjupas med syfte att problematisera möjligheter för delaktighet och inflytande på olika samhällsarenor och livsområden. Forskning om aktörskap, brukarinflytande och motmakt liksom utsatthet och diskriminering belyses. Dessutom diskuteras och problematiseras socialarbetarens kompetens och förhållningssätt i arbete med funktionshinderfrågor.
