Overview
Kursen ger en introduktion till socialt arbete som forskningsfält, forskningsfältets historia, och dess relation till andra vetenskapliga discipliner och forskningsfält. Dessutom behandlas olika vetenskapsteoretiska ansatser i fältet. Vikt läggs vid övningar i att söka, sammanställa och kritiskt granska vetenskapliga artiklar, samt i att arbeta med såväl kvantitativt som kvalitativt material. Vidare behandlas de kunskapsformer och den kunskapsanvändning som aktualiseras såväl i socialt arbete som praktik som i forskning.
