Overview
<p>Sociologi befinner sig i gränslandet mellan samhällsvetenskap och beteendevetenskap. Inom sociologiämnet studeras hur människor interagerar med varandra och samhällets strukturer. </p><p>Kursen omfattar inledningsvis en teoretisk fördjupning (7,5 hp) om det moderna samhällets organisering och utveckling. Inom delkursen utvecklas olika förklaringsmodeller och analyser av sociala fenomen på samhälls-, grupp-, och individnivå. Den andra delkursen fördjupar metodologi med inriktning emot kvalitativa datainsamlingsstrategier och analysstrategier.</p><p>Den sista halvan av kursen är att skriva ett självständigt arbete (15 hp) grundade i egna argument och analyser. I arbetet ingår att etablera forskningsproblem samt välja sociologiskt relevanta analys- och datainsamlingsmetoder.</p>
