Overview
The aim of the course is to build students' critical understanding of globalization, migration, and the relationships between them. It addresses these topics in the context of other important features of societies, such as the character of their welfare state and patterns of recent social change. The course is divided into four themes, each relating globalization and migration to topics such as neoliberalism, institutions, public attitudes, and the experiences of immigrants.
