Kursen behandlar vikten av att utveckla programvara i en iterativ process med hjälp av vedertagna metoder. Livscykeln för programvaror och olika processmodeller som kan användas vid framtagning av program belyses. De olika processmodellernas för- och nackdelar diskuteras. I kursen arbetar du praktiskt med de grundläggande aktiviteterna för att ta fram centrala projektartefakter vid utveckling av programvara genom ett projektarbete. Fokus ligger på analys och design och olika diagram som används för dessa delar.
