Spanish, General Course, Continuation Course

The course provides advanced knowledge of grammar, works with simpler translation exercises, and practices the ability to express oneself correctly in Spanish, both orally and in writing. The focus is on further developing the communicative language skills in Spanish with the goal of achieving C1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The student actively works on developing their language and literary awareness, as well as deepening their understanding of the history, society, and culture of Spanish-speaking countries through independent information gathering, literature studies, and analysis of cultural expressions. The literature module focuses on works of fiction from the Spanish-speaking world, which are analyzed from aesthetic, historical, and societal perspectives.
