Overview
Kursen introducerar det specialpedagogiska fältet med fokus på grundlärarens uppdrag kopplat till pedagogisk dokumentation och bedömning. Studenten fördjupar sig i styrning och reglering av specialpedagogisk verksamhet samt teoretiska perspektiv på skolsvårigheter. Centrala begrepp som normalitet, avvikelse, inkludering, differentiering samt formativ och summativ bedömning granskas kritiskt. Kursen behandlar stödinsatser och anpassningar för elever i behov av särskilt stöd, inklusive elever med neuropsykiatriska svårigheter, med fokus på lärmiljöns utformning. Kunskapsområdet problematiseras utifrån teorier om specialpedagogik, pedagogisk dokumentation och bedömning. Studenten utvecklar kommunikativa färdigheter för att initiera och leda samtal som främjar professionell samverkan och elevers kunskapsutveckling. Intervju som vetenskaplig metod används för att fördjupa förståelsen av det specialpedagogiska uppdraget i praktiken. Innehållet i kursen belyses och problematiseras utifrån skolans värdegrund och barns rättigheter.
