Entry requirements
Prerequisites for mathematics development Passed Swedish and English equivalent to basic qualifications at primary level. Admission to the education requires a completed primary teacher's degree, subject teacher's degree, vocational teacher's degree, preschool teacher's degree or an equivalent older degree. For specialization in mathematics development, the previously completed degree must include subject studies in mathematics or within the knowledge area of mathematics development, comprising at least 22.5 credits. If the degree does not include the mentioned subject studies, the student is required to have supplemented their education with equivalent knowledge. In addition, at least three years of pedagogical work after the teaching degree is required, covering at least half-time. The professional experience must be within the area of mathematics or mathematics development. The professional experience must be confirmed with a certificate of service in connection with the application. Within the program, specific prerequisites apply for admission to courses. The specific prerequisites are stated in the respective course syllabus.
