Speech and Presentation Technique through Drama - RASK

This course is designed for students who want to improve their oral presentation skills through drama and acting techniques. It is particularly suitable for those studying education, communication, or performing arts, as well as anyone looking to speak more clearly, confidently, and expressively in front of an audience. Through six intensive workshops, students will engage in physical and vocal training, dramatic exercises, and monologue preparation. The course emphasizes practical learning: students will rehearse and perform a short dramatic monologue, applying techniques in voice, articulation, body language, and stage presence. The course is part of a freestanding offering and does not belong to a course package. It may be used by students seeking extended eligibility in relevant subjects. **On-campus format:** The course is taught in person and includes mandatory attendance at six sessions. Students are expected to work independently between sessions to memorize and rehearse their monologues. The final class includes a performance exam.
