The course introduces fundamental principles and methods in statistics, with applications in business administration and economics. The content includes graphical and numerical descriptive methods, basic probability theory, discrete and continuous probability distributions, sampling distributions, point estimates, confidence intervals, and parametric hypothesis testing.
