Overview
Det finns ett stort kompetensbehov inom funktionshinderomsorgen. Stödpedagogutbildningen är efterfrågad av arbetslivet. Många arbetsgivare är i behov av personal med den kompetens som utbildningen ger. I utbildningen ingår bland annat kurser i kommunikation, pedagogik, etik och juridik. De studerande får fördjupa sig i olika funktionsnedsättningar och dess konsekvenser samt i hälsans betydelse för den enskilde individen. Målet med utbildningen är att ge goda kunskaper och kompetens i att möta och ge stöd till personer med funktionsnedsättning för att möjliggöra ökad självständighet, delaktighet och livskvalitet. Utbildningen ges på distans, halvtid, med digitala och fysiska studieträffar på plats i Uppsala.

Entry requirements
Du är behörig att antas till en yrkeshögskoleutbildning om du uppfyller något av följande: 1. Har en gymnasieexamen från gymnasieskolan eller kommunal vuxenutbildning. 2. Har en svensk eller utländsk utbildning som motsvarar kraven i punkt 1. 3. Är bosatt i Danmark, Finland, Island eller Norge och där är behörig till motsvarande utbildning. 4. Genom svensk eller utländsk utbildning, praktisk erfarenhet eller på grund av någon annan omständighet har förutsättningar att tillgodogöra dig utbildningen. Förutom detta ställs följande krav: Minst ett års sammantagen yrkeserfarenhet från arbete med stöd till personer med funktionsnedsättning. 1 år heltid Förkunskapskurser: • Hälsopedagogik: 100 poäng • Specialpedagogik 1: 100 poäng • Specialpedagogik 2: 100 poäng • Svenska 2 eller Svenska som andra språk 2: 100 poäng
