Overview
Kursen utgår från generella strategiska begrepp och teoribildningar och presenterar modeller för intern och extern organisationsanalys avseende omvärldsvillkor och kärnkompetenser. Därefter introduceras begreppet Strategisk HRM och grunderna för denna begrepps- och teorikombination utreds och analyseras. Kursen behandlar därefter teorier kring strategi- och personalarbete på internationell nivå, speciellt avseende funktioner hos internationella koncerner och de specifika förutsättningar för personalarbete som koncernstrukturen skapar. De viktigaste trenderna inom internationellt personalarbete, både teoretiskt och praktiskt berörs också samt problem och hinder - t ex olika kultur- och ledarskapstraditioner – avseende möjligheterna till organisationsutveckling i praktiken.
