Overview
Kursen ger kunskaper i psykologiska och biologiska processer avseende stress, återhämtning och hälsa. Syftet är att ge grundläggande kunskaper om teorier, modeller och begrepp inom området stress och hälsa. Efter genomförd kurs kommer studenterna att veta hur stress och hälsa hänger ihop på alla nivåer (från cellen via individen till samhället) samt kunna kritiskt analysera de potentiella negativa konsekvenserna av stress. Kursen omfattar fysiologiska och psykologiska stressreaktioner, stress och nervsystemet, stress och immunsystemet, stress och hälsa, psykosociala faktorer och stress, stress på jobbet, individuella skillnader i stress och stressrelaterad ohälsa, stresshantering, sömn(brist) och återhämtning.
