Overview
Under utbildningen får du lära dig hur man mäter in och visualiserar geografisk information, det vill säga geodata, och hur man använder GIS (geografiska informationssystem) för att analysera den. Teori varvas med praktiska övningar, både inomhus och utomhus. Du kommer att mäta med GPS, totalstation och andra mätinstrument. Du får också använda laserskanner för att skapa 3D-modeller och analysera bilder tagna från drönare, flygplan och satelliter. Vi jobbar med olika datorprogram inom CAD, BIM och GIS för att exempelvis hitta närmaste vägen mellan två platser och för att analysera översvämningsrisker. Programmet innehåller även kurser inom fastighetsbildning och samhällsplanering som ger en bred kompetens efterfrågad av arbetsmarknaden. Du möter representanter från näringslivet på gästföreläsningar och vid studiebesök.
