Kursen vänder sig till yrkesverksamma socionomer som är handledare till studenter inom Socionomprogrammet och Hälso- och sjukvårdskuratorsprogrammet. Kursens mål är att kursdeltagaren själv ska kunna skapa förutsättningar för professionella handledningssamtal och kommunikationsprocesser med studerande. Kursen innehåller en genomgång av handledningsteorier, handledningsmetoder och förhållningssätt som utgångspunkt för en teori- och perspektivmedveten handledning av studerande inom socialt arbete på en verksamhetsförlagd kurs. Handledarrollen och handledningsprocessen presenteras och diskuteras liksom maktaspekter och etiska förhållningssätt.
