Overview
Kursen innehåller en genomgång av handledningsteorier, handledningsmetoder, förhållningssätt och samtal som utgångspunkt för en teoretiskt och praktiskt förankrad handledning av studerande inom verksamhetsförlagd utbildning (VFU). Vidare ligger fokus på handledarens roll och studentens lärandeprocesser under studentens verksamhetsförlagda utbildning samt på studentens möten med klienter/brukare, handledare och kollegor. Teorier om lärande och handledning, handledningsmetoder, handledningsprocessen och handledarrollen presenteras, diskuteras och problematiseras. Bedömning av handledningsprocessen diskuteras.

För att vara behörig till kursen krävs socionomexamen, sociala omsorgsexamen eller kandidatexamen med minst 90 högskolepoäng i socialt arbete. Dessutom krävs minst ett års yrkeserfarenhet inom socialt arbete.
