Overview
Vill du jobba som högstadie- eller gymnasielärare och har tillräckliga ämneskunskaper men saknar den pedagogisk-didaktiska delen för att bli behörig lärare? Genom att komplettera med Kompletterande pedagogisk utbildning, KPU, kan du få en ämneslärarexamen och bli behörig att undervisa i ett eller flera ämnen. Utbildningen ges på heltid under tre terminer och ges på distans med ett fåtal fysiska träffar per termin. Däremellan sker kommunikation mellan studenter och lärare via en webbaserad lärplattform. I utbildningen varvas utbildningsvetenskaplig kärna (UVK), ämnesdidaktik och verksamhetsförlagd utbildning (VFU). . I den utbildningsvetenskapliga kärnan utvecklar du generella lärarkunskaper. Det är kunskaper som hjälper dig i din yrkesroll och handlar till exempel om ledarskap, konflikthantering, bedömning och betygsättning. Den verksamhetsförlagda delen av utbildningen ges i två perioder om fem veckor och en om tio veckor. VFU kan endast genomföras på skolor inom lärosätets partnerområden.

General entry requirements for first-cycle studies and specific entry requirements as follows: Specialisation in teaching in years 7–9 of compulsory school Subject knowledge in at least one teaching subject in years 7–9 of compulsory school corresponding to subject studies of at least 90 higher education credits. For degree programmes comprising 240 and 270 credits, the subject studies must include an independent project of at least 15 credits. Specialisation in teaching in upper secondary school Subject knowledge in at least one teaching subject in upper secondary school corresponding to subject studies of at least 120 higher education credits. For degree programmes comprising 300 and 330 credits, the subject studies must include an independent project of at least 15 credits. The subject may not be a vocational subject.
