<p>How does AI affect people and the planet? In this course, you will explore the social and ecological consequences of AI and learn how sustainability principles can be applied to a rapidly evolving technology.</p><p>Artificial intelligence is transforming society at an unprecedented pace - but what are its effects on people and the environment? This course provides knowledge about the social and environmental consequences of AI and how sustainability frameworks can be used to analyse and address these challenges.</p><p>The course is primarily designed for professionals who want to understand AI development in an organisational context. It is also relevant for engineering and computer science students seeking a broader perspective on AI’s impact, as well as social science students interested in applying sustainability principles to emerging technologies.<br/>Language of instruction: English.</p>
