Overview
Through lectures, seminars and individual study, students learn central concepts in the field of sustainable development: definitions, priciples of sustainable development, environmental problems, activities causing environmental problems, I=PAT equation, allocation problems, cycles, backlash effect, technical solutions, financial instruments of control and insight into current global trends. Students conduct and complete a change project in which the environmental effects of change are estimated, and reflect on change activities, their environmental consequences and suggest measures and control instruments that support the process towards sustainable development.
