<p>Kursen fokuserar på tre områden som ingenjörer i ledande positioner kan komma att stöta på i arbetslivet. Kursen belyser miljölagstiftning och andra typer av internationella regelverk och ansvarsfrågor som kan vara av relevans för hållbar utveckling. Den teoretiska grunden bakom livscykelanalys illustreras genom diskussioner om bland annat produktionssystemens livscykel, materialval, kvalitetssäkring mm. Slutligen diskuteras jämlikhet, jämställdhet och bakgrundsmångfald i perspektivet av arbetsplatsutformning. Arbetslivsanknytning ges genom studiebesök på ett företag som driver hållbarhetsfrågor.</p>
