Sustainable Urban Management - Master's Programme

To be admitted to the Sustainable Urban Management – Master’s programme the following criteria must be met:  • general entry requirements: first-cycle qualification comprising at least 180 credits or a corresponding qualification from abroad. • specific entry requirements: specialisation comprising 90 credits in one of the following subjects/disciplinary domains: \- architecture \- built environment \- building science \- spatial planning \- business administration \- geography \- cultural and human geography  \- landscape architecture \- landscape science \- leadership and organisation \- environmental science \- economics \- civil engineering \- urban and regional planning \- political science. Alternatively, the applicant must hold one of the following professional qualifications: Degree of Master of Science in Architecture, Degree of Master of Science in Landscape Architecture, Degree of Master of Science or Bachelor of Science in Engineering, with specialisation in building technology, construction engineering, or energy and environmental systems. Specific entry requirements may also be met if the applicant has acquired equivalent knowledge through a corresponding qualification from abroad, or in some other way.  In addition, the applicant must meet the Swedish language requirements equivalent to the general entry requirements for first-cycle (Bachelor’s level) studies, and English 6. SLU regulations state that applicants may meet the requirement of English 6 if they were awarded a first-cycle degree (180 credits) from a Swedish university, or have completed 120 credits at SLU. There are specific entry requirements for each course included in the programme.
