Overview
The course provides knowledge of linguistic variation as well as sociolinguistic theory and method. Furthermore, it provides knowledge of the structure of the Swedish language regarding phonology, morphology and syntax. In addition, the course provides knowledge of central concepts linked to text and genre that are deepened through own written and oral production. Finally, the course provides knowledge of text analytical tools and the roles and functions of texts, as well as practice in academic writing.<br> <br> The course focuses on texts and writing in various forms and is designed to enable parallel studies with the course Creative writing (1-30) 30 credits.
