Kursen är uppdelad i två delkurser: **Delkurs 1: Teori och metod, 4,5 hp** I denna delkurs studeras modeller och centrala begrepp inom kognitiv grammatik. Relationen mellan kognition, grammatik, språklig betydelse och kontext står i fokus, samtidigt som det autentiska språket i bruk är centralt. I kursen övar studenten att identifiera, analysera och syntetisera olika språkliga fenomen utifrån det kognitivgrammatiska ramverket. **Delkurs 2: Individuell fördjupning, 3 hp** Inom delkursen genomför den studerande en praktisk tillämpning av de teorier och metoder som diskuterats under den första delkursen.
