Overview
Genom kyrkans historia har ondskan som fenomen varit föremål för teologisk reflektion och rannsakan. Men det har inte börjat där, utan redan genom den bibliska uppenbarelsen går tanken på ondska, våld och så småningom en ond makt. Under den intertestamentala tiden växer dessa tankar till allt vidare spekulationer, som vi i viss mån möter i Nya testamentet. Denna kurs syftar till att ta ett helhetsgrepp på ämnet genom en grundläggande genomgång av tankarna kring ondskan i de äldre semitiska kulturerna, Gamla testamentet, den intertestamentala tiden, Nya testamentet och den tidiga kyrkohistorien. Samtidigt är ett mål med kursen att reflektera kring hur de symboliska framställningarna av ondskan genom tiderna ska förstås och hur vi kan hantera dessa föreställningar idag
