Overview
<p>The impact of technological development on the economy and society is growing and is often described as a new industrial revolution. Conversely, social and economic aspects are becoming increasingly important for the development and implementation of new technology at scale. The interaction between technological and economic change contributes to a society-wide structural change. But what do we really know about the change and its direction when it comes to, for example, digitalization, the green transition or AI's impact on the labor market? In this course, we analyze and discuss current issues on structural change that tie into both to the research front and to ongoing public policy debates.</p>
