Overview
Denna kurs handlar om att läsa och tolka texter i olika sammanhang och med olika utgångspunkter. Vad är det att förstå en historisk, teologisk, eller filosofisk text, och vilka verktyg och tolkningsmetoder är relevanta? Kursen ger en introduktion till bibeltolkningens historia och hermeneutik. Vi resonerar kring filosofiska och teologiska perspektiv på tolkning, samt reflekterar över etiska konsekvenser av, och eget ansvarstagande för, olika tolkningar. Vi tränar användning av både traditionella och nyare tolkningsmetoder genom teoretiska reflektioner och metodiska övningar. Särskild tonvikt läggs vid källkritik, vid texternas historiska, litterära och ideologiska sammanhang, samt vid de etiska frågeställningar texterna väcker.
