Kursen riktar sig främst till verksamma lärare i förskoleklass och grundskolans årskurs 1-6 som arbetar med elever som är flerspråkiga. Fokus i kursen ligger på att lärare utifrån sin egen undervisningspraktik ska identifiera möjligheter och utmaningar samt genomföra språk- och kunskapsutvecklande undervisning. Med språk- och kunskapsutvecklande undervisning avses en undervisning som syftar till att elever utvecklar språk- och ämneskunskaper parallellt.
