Sakramenten är förtätade symboler och symboliska handlingar som för den kristna kyrkan också reellt förmedlar det som de betecknar. I kursen behandlas sakramenten ur teologisk synvinkel. Vi studerar hur synen på sakrament och sakramentsbegrepp har växt fram och förändrats genom tiderna och kommit att skilja sig åt i olika kristna traditioner.
