Denna kurs orienterar deltagarna i olika sätt att förstå det samtida samhället som ett prestationssamhälle. Kursens övergripande mål är att utveckla studenternas förmåga förstå och analysera hur siffror, utvärderingssystem, rangordningar prestationsmått, symboler för unicitet/autenticitet breder ut sig över de flesta av våra livssfärer – från organisations- och arbetsliv, över skola och konsumtion, till intima relationer Under kursen kommer deltagarna få diskutera de texter och samhällsproblem som tas upp både skriftligt och muntligt.
