Overview
Kursen består av att den studerande i samråd med lärare/handledare väljer ett tema inom historievetenskapen och genom litteraturstudier inom ett specifikt område fördjupar sig metodologiskt såväl som ämnesmässigt. Kurser ger tillfälle till diskussioner kring olika problemställningar såväl som diskurser inom historievetenskapen i relation till den valda tematiska litteraturen. Den studerande skall utföra ett enskilt skriftligt arbet och presentera detta vid ett seminarium.

Entry requirements
För tillträde till kursen krävs kandidatexamen (180hp), eller motsvarande, med Historia som huvudämne (90hp), alternativt Fil. Kand. examen (120p) med Historia som huvudämne (60p), (enligt kursplaner gällande till och med om 2007-06-30). Därtill krävs 30 hp forskarförberedande kurs i historia på avancerad nivå (HI2120, HI2160 eller motsvarande).
