Overview
Kursen behandlar metoder för arkivforskning med inriktning på källor och material som rör textilvetenskaplig och konstvetenskaplig forskning. Under kursen ges en arkivvetenskaplig introduktion och därefter behandlas olika typer av arkivaliska källor och metoder för att söka, samla in och bearbeta arkivalisk information samt källkritiska aspekter på innehållet i historiska dokument. Kursen omfattar material från medeltid till modern tid. Kursen ger en avancerad fördjupning inom ämnet samt övning i textilvetenskaplig samt konstvetenskaplig metod och analys. Den utgör en bas för den som vill läsa forskarutbildning i textilvetenskap eller konstvetenskap, men kan också fungera som ett komplement till andra kulturhistoriska och historiska ämnen.
