Overview
Denna kurs ger fördjupad kunskap i och förståelse för teman och teorier inom kulturgeografi. Med utgångspunkt i de samhällsutmaningar som regioner och städer står inför såsom ökande ojämlikhet, klimatförändringar, globalisering och förändrade migrationsflöden, studeras kulturgeografiska perspektiv på hur platser, miljö, människor och samhällsstrukturer hänger ihop. På kursen behandlas även kulturgeografins roll i samhällsplaneringen genom att analysera ett aktuellt planeringsproblem utifrån olika kulturgeografiska perspektiv. Dessutom ingår en didaktisk övning i form av en muntlig presentation av valt ämnesstoff följt av en skriftlig självreflektion.
