Bekännelsen till Treenigheten kan beskrivas som ”det kristna sättet att tro på en enda Gud” (Walter Kasper). Dogmen om Guds trefaldighet har vuxit fram ur uppenbarelsen av Gud som Fader, Son och Ande. Kursen ger en översikt över trinitetsteologins utveckling från de bibliska källorna via den patristiska och medeltida traditionen, den tidigmoderna teologin, fram till samtida teologiska strömningar, med ett särskilt systematiskt fokus på Thomas av Aquino.

General admission requirements for university studies. Students taking part in the course as a part of their Bachelor’s degree program must have completed Course A, Introduction in Philosophy and Theology (30 ECTS credits). Students taking part in the course as a freestanding course are expected to have corresponding prior knowledge.
