Kursen behandlar olika kvantitativa angreppssätt på hur den byggda miljön kan beskrivas och analyseras ur ett urbant- och regionalt perspektiv. Fokus ligger på såväl bakomliggande teori som på metoder, modeller och verktyg. Även analyser och modeller inom samhällsbyggandet ur olika systemperspektiv behandlas under kursen.
