Overview
This course will deepen your knowledge of Geographic Information Systems, GIS, with a focus on urban areas. You will practice your GIS skills through practical exercises. The course aims to provide in-depth knowledge of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and in-depth practice in Geographical Information Systems. The course also contributes to an in-depth knowledge of the principles of GIS implementation and applications with an emphasis on urban areas. A major part of the course is devoted to practical exercises with GIS software. The course is part of the Master's programme in Geography. The course can also be taken as a stand-alone course, subject to availability.
