Overview
Kursen fokuserar på centrala frågor om interkulturalitet, inkludering och flerspråkighet i dagens pedagogiska miljöer för barn. Utifrån teorier och begrepp rörande interkulturalitet och inkludering behandlas interkulturella perspektiv och arbetsformer i förskola, förskoleklass, grundskola och fritidshem. Kursen behandlar aspekter av bland annat kön, klass och etnicitet i relation till barns lärande, identitetsskapande och livsvillkor. Dimensioner av normalitet, segregation och flerspråkighet diskuteras i relation till förskolans, förskoleklassens, grundskolans och fritidshemmets verksamheter. Kursen belyser olika sociala kategoriseringar och hur de har betydelse för barns exkludering och inkludering inom utbildning och i samhället.
