Master of Science Programme in Human Geography

<p>The Master’s Programme in Human Geography is a two-year international programme that explores how cultural, economic, social and political processes shape people’s lives and the places they inhabit, from a geographical perspective. </p><p>The Master’s Programme in Human Geography provides an in-depth understanding of how societies evolve and change in relation to place, environment and global processes. You gain a broad analytical perspective on key issues such as sustainability, inequality, urbanisation and climate change. </p><p>The programme is designed for students who already hold a degree in Human Geography, or a closely related subject, and who wish to deepen their knowledge through advanced studies in geographic theory, research methodology and Geographical Information Systems (GIS). </p><p>Students from all over the world take part in the programme, creating a stimulating international learning environment. Teaching is carried out by internationally recognised researchers who address current topics in spatial planning, environmental analysis, globalisation and social justice.
