Overview
The course explores how the challenges and opportunities associated with sustainable development influence, and are influenced by, the practice of human resource work. In the module Theories, Concepts and Perspectives, students are introduced to key theories in Human Resource Management (HRM). This module also deepens the understanding of the concept of sustainable development. In the module Application and Reflection, the relationship between human resource strategies and sustainable development is examined. Topics include organizational approaches and strategies for responding to external demands and opportunities related to the sustainability transition, and how these affect HR practices.
