Kursens syfte är att fördjupa ett vetenskapligt förhållningssätt till förskolans utbildning, undervisning och verksamhet gällande demokrati- och värdegrundsuppdrag. I kursen behandlas: - olika teoretiska perspektiv på förskolans utbildning (policy) - olika teoretiska perspektiv på förskolans undervisning (praktik) - olika teoretiska perspektiv på förskolans verksamhet (övrigt exempelvis samverkan) - aktuell forskning om förskolans utbildning, undervisning och verksamhet.
